Our FacilityOur state-of-the-art Winchester facility features complete radiology, ultrasound, in-house lab, dentistry, and laser surgery capabilities.Radiology can be one of the most useful diagnostic procedures when it comes to evaluating your pet. X-rays allow us to see the size, shape and location of internal organs. With the advent of digital radiology, our veterinarians are able to capture clear, high-resolution images of your pet, leading to a faster, more accurate diagnosis.Winchester Animal Clinic offers the latest in ultrasound technology which allows for more rapid diagnosis. Cardiac ultrasound allows imaging of the heart as it is beating. This allows imaging of heart muscle and valves in great detail. Abdominal ultrasound is useful in evaluating the pancreas, liver, gall bladder, spleen, kidneys and urinary bladder. In addition some foreign material that is not seen with X -rays, may be seen on ultrasound. Because this is a non invasive diagnostic test, sedation is usually not needed making this less stressful on your pet. We also offer a state-of-the-art, in-house laboratory capable of measuring numerous laboratory values, with results often available in a few minutes. Trained, experienced technicians staff our laboratory and they are capable of interpreting your pet's laboratory results quickly and accurately. Complete blood counts, blood chemistry profiles, urinalysis, fecal exams and heartworm tests are commonly performed in our laboratory. We have the highest quality laboratory instruments in order to provide the best possible care for your pet.Grooming
